Friday Evening, October 2nd thru Sabbath October 10, 2009

(Opening Session Begins Friday at 7:00 PM)

Come enjoy the fall Festival of Tabernacles (Festival of Sukkot 2009) with us at beautiful
Windermere in Missouri (on the Lake of the Ozarks) as we study the "Hebrew Roots" of the festivals. Eight days of interactive seminars, along with daily Messianic praise and worship, Hebrew dancing, and hearty fellowship will serve to teach us about and bring us closer to the true meaning of the festival.

We are planning a re-enactment of the "Water Pouring Ceremony" and the "Festival of Lights"; first century Temple services that Yeshua the Messiah probably participated in as he observed the festival in Jerusalem with His family, friends, and disciples.

We will again have a number of "Question and Answer" sessions.  In these sessions, we will have various teachers available to answer questions in a "round table" type discussion.  We will solicit questions at the beginning of the festival, then discuss them at these sessions.  For those who are new to the "Hebrew Roots" understanding, we will also have a breakout session discussing "What is Hebrew Roots?".

Besides all the opportunities we'll have to learn from the many gifted teachers, we will also have times to relax and interact during activities such as the Hamburger Cookout/Ice Cream Social, the Talent Show, and the Israel Family Dinner.  On many evenings we'll be able to participate in Hebrew dance led by various Hebraic Dance instructors.  There are also activities available at the lodge such as swimming, water skiing, and golf.

Though we do request that you register with us (why), there is no charge or registration fee for attending the Season of Our Joy festival, nor we do not take up offerings at the festival (why).  If you are so inclined, we will gladly accept a donation to help with the costs.
